Finding new ways to embrace winter in our communities

Outdoor spaces and activities have become even more important for our mental, social and physical wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here in Greater Cleveland, winter weather keeps many people from getting outside during the colder months. Visit our blog for some tips on embracing the season.

In addition, Neighborhood Connections is encouraging residents and grassroots groups to find creative ways to use outdoor spaces on chilly days - and to share their ideas with the community! Now through March 22, applications are being accepted for "Get Outside Grants" ranging from $500 to $5,000.

SAVE THE DATE! Common Ground celebrates shared power and fifth anniversary July 16-30, 2021

This year marks the fifth anniversary of Common Ground, a celebration of community-led conversations convened by partners across Greater Cleveland. Traditionally held on one day, this year’s anniversary event will expand to two weeks of community conversation from July 16-30.

Each year, Common Ground hosts build conversations united by a common topic. This year, we invite the community to gather around our fifth anniversary theme: Growing Common Ground: People, Place, Shared Power.

All Common Ground conversations have the same goal: to create spaces where meaningful connections are made and purposeful actions begin. Registration and more details will be available this spring. Mark your calendars!
